We work with about 45 of the top jazz musicians in the Northeastern U.S. Basically we seek to utilize those elder statesmen that have their roots in jazz and swing in the 1940's and 1950's. Some of the musicians are -

Steve Barbone 50 years of playing jazz first in NYC and European Jazz Clubs, then in the Philadelphia area. Gigged at Nickís, Cinderella Club, Village Gate, Central Plaza, Condonís, Stuyvesant Casino, Vieux Colombier and JazKeller with Roy Eldridge, Coleman Hawkins, Yank Lawson, Sydney Bechet and others. A Charter member of the Southampton Dixie, Racing and Clambake Society Jazz Band in the 50s.

Paul Grant 39 years of playing jazz. Retired 20 year US Army Band musician with several bands in the Eastern US, where he was their jazz soloist. Can frequently be seen in Atlantic City casinos from Caesars Palace to The Showboat. Lead trumpet with several big swing bands.

Glenn Dodson 54 years of playing jazz. Also a classical musician. Nine years as first trombone New Orleans Symphony. Moonlighted with Pete Fountain and Al Hirt. Three years first trombone, Chicago Symphony and 27 years as principal trombone with the Philadelphia Orchestra.

Sonny Troy 47 years of playing jazz. A jazz regular on the Philadelphia / Atlantic City scene. This "Modern Jazz" player backed the great singer Peggy Lee, spent some time with Louis Prima and Keely Smith and was Frankie Avalonís music director at Atlantic City Casinos. Joe Mongillo 48 years of playing jazz. Originally a rock & roll  player, he has modified his style toward the roots of jazz over the past few years. First with an 18 piece swing band, Wilmington's Rhythm Doctors and then with small groups at the Atlantic City Casinos. Joined Barbone Street in 1992.

Ace Tesone 55 years of playing jazz. From the late 1940s, Ace gigged with jazz legends Lester Young, Max Roach Ben Webster, Billie Holiday, Charlie Ventura, Buddy Rich, Kai Winding, J.J. Johnson, Charlie Shavers and many others. Also played and recorded with Chubby Checker, Mel Torme and Clifford Brown.
