Musical Evolution in Pennsylvania
Jazz is a unique American Art Form. It evolved in New Orleans from roots in Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean among Blacks, Creoles, and Whites. This musical evolution may never have been possible without the melting pot environment of the Crescent City and the ambiance of Mardi Gras.
Our Musicians
All are master professionals so that when we put a band together from 3 to 7 pieces, the result is a world-class band.
From left to right in the picture we are:
Sonny Troy - guitar
Jack Hegyi - bass
Steve Barbone - clarinet
Cindy Vidal - trombone
Michael Piper - drums
Paul Grant - trumpet
Six Piece Jazz Group
The basic band is a six-piece jazz group. However, to fill the demand for good music, the band works with a group of about 45 musicians who supply everything from the soft background to foot-stomping, high energy jazz.
